The ISSA COSTUMES workshop opened in 2022 in Geneva (CH), with a branch in St-Julien en Genevois (F) for customers in the European area (without customs formalities).

ISSA COSTUMES

Our workshop

The workshop is run by Khaled Issa, who has been working as a men’s and women’s tailor for over 30 years.

Trained in Aleppo and from 1993 in Milan, he became responsible for cutting and assembling menswear at several major Milanese costume houses such as Casa d’Arte Fiori, Brancato and Sartoria Arrigo.

Khaled Issa knows how to fully engage the imagination of the costume designers with whom he regularly collaborates and communicates. He puts his technical know-how at their disposal and advises them on modelling, the choice of fabrics and materials according to a particular role or physique as well as the feasibility of shaping//processing and prototyping. He is perfectly equipped for the production of one-off//single//individual pieces for soloists and for large series for choirs, dance companies and extras//walk-ons. To do this, he adapts to the measurement sheets and photos provided by the theatre.

Based on his vast experience, he has developed his own recognised methodology, based on his ability to truly understand the individual dressing needs of the various performing arts.

As an expert in his field, Khaled Issa knows how to select the right staff and equipment for each production and is able to manage large, sometimes relocated teams.

ISSA COSTUMES’ prices and deadlines//delivery times are very reasonable, realistic and respected.
